Southern Hills
Counseling Center responds to every request for service which could mean
scheduling an appointment at Southern Hills or referring that individual to
another service agency. A trained mental health professional will meet with each
potential consumer upon admission and evaluate their service needs. Following
that evaluation, the individual will be referred to the applicable Southern
Hills program or an agency outside of Southern Hills which is more able to meet
their needs.
Assessments are routinely scheduled during the regular office hours of each
county office. Emergency after-hours and weekend assessments are available 24
hours a day by calling the Southern Hills emergency line at 1-800-883-4020 or
812-482-4020. All services are provided by trained personnel approved by
Southern Hills to provide assessments and triage, and evaluative interviews and
mental status determinations for children, adolescents, adults, older adults,
and substance abusers.
