Southern Hills is recruiting multiple positions for our offices in Jasper, Tell City, Paoli, Rockport, English, and Huntingburg in rural southern Indiana.  We are a nationally accredited, private, not-for-profit, community mental health center serving Crawford, Dubois, Orange, Perry, and Spencer Counties.  Within an easy drive to Evansville and Bloomington, Indiana, and Owensboro and Louisville, Kentucky, the beautiful rolling hills of southern Indiana offer a variety of year-round recreational opportunities.  The positions Southern Hills has available are opportunities to help people make their lives work better.

 

MENTAL HEALTH TECHNICIAN - RDT

Southern Hills Counseling Center is recruiting for a full-time (40 hours per week) temporary position at our Tell City Facility.  Duties include assisting in the children’s day treatment program and providing transportation to/from the program.   Work schedule will include evening hours on Mondays through Thursdays.  Job requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, ability to work with individuals with special needs, a valid driver’s license, and residency in Crawford, Dubois, Orange, Perry or Spencer County.  Successful applicant must obtain a Public Passenger License upon hire.  We offer a competitive salary with additional consideration for related experience.  On-the-job training and mileage reimbursement provided for business travel. 

 

  MENTAL HEALTH TECHNICIANS (MHT's)- PART TIME

Southern Hills has employment opportunities in our group homes in Jasper for individuals who are dependable, dedicated, and interested in helping people make their lives work better.  MHT's are responsible for teaching independent living skills and providing support to our physically active residents.  Current openings are for part time positions (8-29 hours a week) to work any shift.  Minimum requirements are a high school diploma or equivalent, valid driver's license, available transportation, and "people" skills.  Employees receive on-the-job training.
